Hey lovely peoples,
Just wanted to give you a heads up that I am going to be taking a hiatus of sorts until after the first week of April, so I can finish my thesis and study for the honors exam that I have coming up. I'll try to check in occasionally to respond to comments and notes, but if I don't get back to you until two months from now, it's not because I don't like you, it's because my major hates me. D,: I LOVE YOU GUYS AND I CAN"T WAIT TO COME BACK.
Spring is coming... too soon. oTL;;; If anyone has any advice for someone graduating college, I'd love to hear it. <3

HAPPY HOLIDAYS!

Russians are still planning to celebrate Orthodox Christmas on January 6th and Old New Year on the 13th, and there is Chinese New Year on the horizon and probably plenty of other holidays, so NO THIS IS NOT LATE. <3

Because it's 5 am, I am working on an economics research paper, I am tired of posting status updates to Facebook, and I am started to get a little bit delusional...
HELLO DEVIANT ART COMMUNITY
I hope that wherever you are, you are safe, warm, happy, and able to enjoy as much sleep as your heart desires.
And now back to my regularly scheduled programming, which I guess now includes listening to the Beyblade Japanese soundtrack from the three seasons while doing economics research, from now on until the end of time (so... in like 9 days?).
OH YAH HAPPY 12:12:12 ON 12/12/12 OR SOMETHING OR RATHER
Also, I am currently listening to the Beyblade tunes on a self-made Youtube playlist, so if anyone knows of any good places to listen to the songs, or to even purchase them, please let me know!

BeyArMaMo, School + everything else

Hey everyone,
In the spirit of continuing to procrastinate on my readings for class, I am going to update my journal entry.
BeyArMaMo is upon us (!), which has been one of the best parts of this month for me (even if I do get frustrated with the Blitzkriegs when they start arguing with me), and it's been great seeing everyone else's wonderful art for the past few weeks (even if I don't have time to comment on all of it, I do try to look through all of it, and you guys are all amazing for sticking with it!). At the same time, it's terrifying to think that it is almost over. That means that October is almost over and I haven't written anything for my thesis. By the powers of Odinn... D:
(To be fair, I have been doing research for it... just no good-quality writing <_<)
BUT I have been surprisingly successful in keeping up with drawing, which gives me hope that I can yet manage time in my life to include things that I enjoy doing and haven't had a lot of time to do in recent years. It also gives me hope that I can manage time to do homework and all of the little side-projects I've been meaning to get done, and not just devote all of my time to extracurriculars on campus (you'd think that you'd finally have time for things when you are not the head of an organization anymore... NOPE). To wrap that up, here's to more inclusion and less discrimination!
Once BeyArMaMo is over, I might post some select pictures from my summer, and (hopefully) continue posting some artwork (although come spring it might be more therapeutic doodles as my eyes are bleeding from staring at the computer and my thesis for hours on end as opposed to some magni opi (not like they are magni opi nowif anyone sees where my Latin's gone let me know k thanx). I am hoping to make a bit more use of my tablet in the future, but it's been getting angry with me for the past few weeks every time I try to use it, so idk... we'll see how our relationship develops.

Man-o-man, I've REALLY forgotten how to do this...
Well, at any rate, HOORAY FOR A MORE CURRENT JOURNAL ENTRY! Can't promise I'll upload another one in the next 6 months or anything, but I just wanted to say that I have rediscovered my dA account, which makes me really happy and nostalgic and realize how much I missed all the wonderful people here. Also, I may actually at some point in the future if the stars align correctly once in a blue Moon upload some art. But no promises.
That is all. Hope everyone is having a great summer/winter, depending on your hemisphere!
