ATTENTION ALL ARTISTS - VERICON ART SHOW

ATTENTION ALL ARTISTS

This year, I am working as the Art Show coordinator for the Vericon Art Show, and I invite everyone to participate!!

Vericon, held at Harvard University (located in Cambridge, Massachusetts), is the annual science fiction and fantasy convention that draws in a mixture of students, Boston residents, and other lovers of all things science fiction and fantasy. The convention also features gaming, anime, special events, and distinguished guest speakers.

We hope we will also feature your artwork!

The format for the art show is very easy. Just send in your clearly labeled artwork along with a filled out inventory form (available on the website) and the entrance fee ($5 if the artwork is received before the deadline, $10 at the door) before the marked deadline. The inventory form should include the minimum bidding price and the Quick Sale price if you wish to sell your artwork; you can also mark your piece as NFS (Not For Sale) and we will gladly display it for all con-goers to see! The art can take any form, from 2D to 3D, just make sure that all 2D artwork is framed and all sculptures are free-standing (see the website for more details).

Please note that the deadline for the RECEIPT of the artworks is Friday, March 5, 2010. If you are unable to make the deadline, just let me know and we'll work something out. This year Vericon X will be held from Friday, March 19 to Sunday, March 21, 2010.

Also, I know that it says "pick-up" for Sunday, but we can also mail you back your artwork if you are unable to attend the con; just include your anticipated shipping costs with your entrance fee, and we will reimburse you for any excess payment.

We are gearing up for an exciting 10th year anniversary convention, so I encourage anyone who is even remotely interested to consider sending in their artwork.

Hey there, how have you been? I have realized something funny. That picture of "The Real Twilight" looks an offle lot like my pumpkin plant growing in the garden in my backyard. The thing has become massive! It really does look like it could hold someone in its 'clutches'.

I don't feel safe anymore... *whimpers*
